Frequently Asked Loan Questions

Borrowing money comes with questions, and you deserve straight answers before you commit to anything. These are the questions we hear most often - answered honestly, without the fine-print fog.

What do I need to qualify?

Three things: a valid South African ID, a bank account that a debit order can run against, and regular income of at least R3 000 per month. Every application then passes an affordability assessment with an NCR-registered lender - the legal safeguard that keeps a loan helpful rather than harmful.

Can I get a loan if I am blacklisted?

Often, yes. A damaged credit record narrows your options but rarely closes them: our blacklisted loans use collateral in place of a clean report, and applications are judged on your current affordability rather than your history alone.

Can I get a loan while under debt review?

No - and anyone who promises otherwise is breaking the law or running a scam. The full explanation, and the legitimate way forward, lives on our loans under debt review page.

How much can I borrow?

Payday-style products typically run up to around R8 000; personal, long-term and consolidation loans reach further. In every case the ceiling is set by what your income can genuinely carry - a limit that protects you as much as the lender.

How fast is the process?

The online application takes minutes, assessment follows promptly, and approved funds are paid straight into your bank account. No branch visits, no queueing.

What does the application cost?

Applying costs nothing. Loan fees and interest are only charged on granted loans, strictly within the limits of the National Credit Act. Any "lender" demanding an upfront fee before paying out is a scam - report them to the NCR.

My applications keep getting declined - what now?

Repeated declines usually point to adverse listings on your credit record. Our ITC Clearance service removes defaults, judgements and stale flags lawfully, fixing the root cause rather than the symptom.
