The ITC Clearance Process - Quick Advance
The ITC Clearance Process

Mystery breeds mistrust, so at Quick Advance we prefer to show clients exactly what happens between "I need my name cleared" and holding a clean credit report. Here is the ITC Clearance process, stage by stage.

Step 1: Gathering Your Credit Reports

We obtain your personal credit reports from all four major bureaus - Experian, TransUnion, Compuscan and XDS - for a non-refundable fee of R500. Working from a single bureau's report risks missing listings that only appear elsewhere, so we insist on the complete picture.

Step 2: The Audit

Our consultants comb through every report, cataloguing each adverse entry: defaults, judgements, garnishee and administration orders, debt review flags and outdated account information. Each listing is classified by the removal route it requires - some need only a bureau dispute, others proof of settlement, others formal legal steps.

Step 3: The Clean-Up

This is where the real work happens. Paid-up listings that were never updated get corrected. Prescribed or erroneous entries get disputed and struck. Judgements are rescinded through the proper channels once the underlying debt is resolved. Everything follows the letter of the law - which is why the results last. Consumers with total debt under R30 000 typically see the smoothest path through this stage.

Step 4: Verification and Certificate

Once the bureaus confirm the removals, we verify that your updated reports reflect your true, clean status. Where applicable, you receive a clearance certificate - tangible proof of your fresh start.

Timelines vary with the complexity of your file, and patience is part of the deal - but every step is transparent and our team keeps you informed throughout. Unfamiliar terms along the way? Our terminology guide has you covered. Ready to begin? Start your application here.
